Fluidtoons
Inspired by Keith Haring's work and Saturday morning cartoons, Fluidtoons creates freehand murals that are so lively, they practically jump off the wall.
Born Brett Thompson, Fluidtoons got his start when he stumbled
across a live painting event in a New York City park and spontaneously
participated, creating a six by seven foot piece on billboard vinyl. Since
then, he's continued to cover walls (Street Art Goods found his work in an
alley in Jersey City), as well as just about anything you throw at him:
shoes, shower curtains, sinks, toasters, cars and human bodies.
Brett has had solo shows in Atlanta, Baltimore and Brooklyn and his animation has screened all over the world for various festivals and International Animation Day. Originally from Tallahassee, Florida, he is now based in Brooklyn, NY.
